The Arc believes that together is better. It takes a village of like mindedness and pooled expertise to create the best outcomes. The Arc has a history of forging successful coalitions between sometimes disparate groups for the common good of the community. Past and current partners with The Arc include corporations, suburban cities, independent school districts, and specialists in such areas as ECI (early childhood intervention) and post high-school transition planning.
Faith Organizations

Faith organizations are uniquely equipped to support families, yet they have little expertise when it comes to intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Arc is developing a coalition of faith-based organizations and agencies to support improved quality of life.

Schools

With few exceptions, children with disabilities spend time in the special education system, whether public or private. The Arc is creating a coalition of schools to assist families, professionals and students in creating the best outcomes when transitioning from school to adulthood.

Developmental Disabilities Network of North Texas

Developmental Disability agencies have their own niche in providing services. Agency representatives also know their resources are limited to address systemic issues that impact their clients every day. The Developmental Disabilities Network (DDN) was created to address the issue of community perception related to intellectual and related developmental disabilities.
