The Arc is the trusted source for people with needs related to intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and a link to life services available in Collin, Dallas and Rockwall counties.

Affiliation with The Arc through its educational programs, its events, and coalitions provide face-to-face contact between service providers and people with needs related to IDD.

“Live the Dream” EXPOs

The Arc operates four disability EXPOs each year in cooperation with the Region 10 Education Service Center and 16 independent school districts to make resources available for people with disabilities. Service providers are invited to exhibit and meet district families.

Parent/Caregiver Education

The Arc offers free and fee-based educational programming to parents and caregivers year-round at multiple locations in its service area. Service providers can contact The Arc if they would like to consider being an instructor or sponsor.

Coalitions

Networking is one of the most beneficial avenues to gain or strengthen community connections. The Arc builds connections through networking events, and opportunities to collaborate on projects.

Resource Directory

The Arc’s comprehensive Area Resource Directory provides service providers with the opportunity to list their products or services and gain exposure to potential clients.
