Arc in the News!
The Texas Legislature eliminated funding that paid for nearly half of The Arc’s guardianship program. The cut was one of many made to social services due to a $23 billion budget shortfall. The Arc is trying to figure out how to pay for guardianships. In all, the legislature cut $1.2 million that went to The Arc and 10 other nonprofits statewide. Read about it
